Found in an army surplus store in Normandy, France, and reimagined by Libby Story, this one-of-a-kind French military jacket brings together camouflage, romantic textures, and a Western spirit.
Libby Cropped it to make it a more flattering fit and then added pins, Vintage lace and trim mingled with handmade fabric patches and pieces repurposed from an authentic Gucci purse.
An embroidered bee-and-crown patch accents the sleeve, while the back features a handmade longhorn skull pieced from authentic Gucci purse material and printed fabrics, framed by pink embroidered flowers. Layered stars and exposed stitching complete its collected, artful character.
A well-traveled original, transformed into wearable art.
